Benefit for Burkina Faso flood victims: Nov 13

Friday night, numerous Toronto musicians will perform at a benefit for the many victims of the recent flooding in Burkina Faso.

Led by drummers Amadou Kienou & Mohamed Diaby with Manding Folin Kan Don, guests include Baro Dununba, Muhtadi, Aline Morales & Baque de Bamba, Njacko Backo and the Toumkak Drummers, Dramane Koné. and others.

Details: Steelworkers Hall, 25 Cecil Street (south of College, east of Spadina). Show begins at 7:30pm. $10 adv, $15 at the door. Tickets at African Drums and Art Crafts, 618 Dundas St. W. More info: come2drum@gmail.com or 647-834-8657
