MUSIC ON THE INTERNET

I love to find music on the Net. It's a big world, I'd like to sample more of it. Great way to make sitting in front of a computer enjoyable. Unfortunately, I just don't have the time to search for much of what must exist. Here are a few good sources I've found. I'd love to find more. email me if you have some good links.

CALABASH MUSIC (New: Jan/07)
Might be the best source to purchase online world music. Check their "Search and Play" feature. Enter an artist name or music genre, and they'll provide samples of other similar music you might enjoy.

MONDOMIX
Links to some old Charlie Gillett shows. The best of them? Catch Mavis Staples spending most of 2 hours with Charlie on Chrismas Day, 2004. You should also listen to Djelimady Tounkara's show. Mondomix also has many fRoots radio shows with Ian Anderson.
