1. JUNO BROADCASTS:
For anyone following this weekend's Juno awards, there are several
radio broadcasts on CBC this weekend featuring several local
nominees. All times below are Eastern Time. Check the links for
details of these and other shows, and for times in other zones.
Saturday:
1-3 pm: Radio One: "Definitely
Not The Opera".
Featuring among others, Toronto-based Digging Roots
8-10pm "Canada Live"
Toronto presence here involves some members of the African
Guitar Summit (they should be on between 9:40-10:00), plus Molly
Johnson with a jazz band that includes Richard Underhill
(himself a nominee) and Roberto Occhipinti.
10pm-midnight: Radio 2, "Canada
Live"
Performers include Mr. Something Something, and Hilario Duran
featuring Roberto Occhipinti.
Sunday
Noon-2pm Radio One (live), and
4-6pm Radio Two:
A "Songwriters Circle" featuring among others Blue Rodeo's Jim
Cuddy, Colin James, Kellylee Evans, Susan Aglukark and others.
The awards ceremony will be broadcast on CTV, 8-10pm
