community.

One of Africa's best known musicians, Ali
Farka Toure, has died after a long illness in his home country
of Mali, the culture ministry has announced.
Toure very recently won his second Grammy Award,
for In the Heart of the Moon, recorded with kora player
Toumani Diabate. He has another album completed to be released soon,
entitled King of the Desert Blues.
