What a Christmas treat! One of the great performers of African music, Mahmoud Ahmed is the biggest star of Ethiopian music. Although his original and biggest hits were recorded in the 70's and 80's, he is still a dynamic and powerful performer; in 2007, he won the BBC Radio 3 World Music Award for Africa.
